Essentia Health in Duluth, MN seeks a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join the Level 15 General Medical Unit at St Mary's Medical Center. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, contributing to safety and comfort.

As a Nursing Assistant, you are responsible for providing direct care to patients and serving the needs of patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, Assistant Head Nurse, and/or Department Director (possibly with guidance from an LPN) to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Works within job scope to meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory and accrediting agencies.
Duties will vary by patient care unit/department and include but are not limited to:

Licensure/Certification Qualifications: BLS certified or ability to become certified within 1 month from hire date
If qualified through the Essentia Health Foundation Course East Market (Excluding WI): Completion of Essentia Health Nursing Assistant Foundation course within 90 days of hire
