Essentia Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the cardiac call team at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN. This 36-hour weekly role covers 7:00 am–3:30 pm and 10:00 am–6:30 pm shifts, with weekday after-hours and weekend on-call requirements.

Relocation assistance is available to support placement in the Duluth area. The candidate will scrub complex cardiovascular procedures, assist under RN supervision, and manage instrumentation and supplies in a high-volume OR environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.

• Functions under the supervision of an RN in providing technical interventions in the Operating Room to patients of all ages.
• Instruments, equipment, prosthesis and supplies handling as part of the surgical team.

Essentia Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to serve on the cardiac call team at St. Mary's Medical Center, located in Duluth, Minnesota. This surgical technologist works 36 hours weekly on 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and 10:00 am to 6:30 pm shifts. On-call requirements include weekdays after 6:30 pm and 24-hour on-call over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). These responsibilities rotate between members of the cardiac core team. Relocation assistance is available.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required within 1 month of hire.
• Certification as a surgical technologist is preferred.
