Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CST certification or equivalent (NCCT TS-C/NCCT) or LPN preferred.
• BLS basic life support certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile field and instruments.
• Assist surgeon and circulating nurse in procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout surgery.
• Set up room and supplies for each case.
• Ensure accurate instrument counts and specimen handling.
• Participate in time-outs and case pauses as required.
• Post-procedure cleanup and equipment sterilization.
