Job summary

Humble Vascular Surgical Center Inc. is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to prepare and maintain instruments and supplies for operative cases under RN/physician supervision.

You will verify readiness of materials, assist in establishing sterile fields, and support the surgical team during procedures while upholding sterile technique and safety protocols. Position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and accredited surgical technology training.
• Current CPR certification and DORA registration.
• 2 years surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
• Assist with surgical patient care under supervision of an RN or physician.
• Verify supplies and instruments before procedures and communicate deficiencies.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique; assist with draping and instrument counts.
• Perform room turnover and ensure readiness of the operating suite.
