Job summary

HUMBLE VASCULAR SURGICAL CENTER INC. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. The role involves assisting surgeons, setting up sterile instruments, and ensuring patient safety before, during, and after procedures.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited surgical technologist program, CPR certification, and experience with total shoulder replacements. Expect no weekends, nights, or on-call duties, with comprehensive OR support and patient care."

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Must be CPR certified with 0-2 years of clinical experience.
• Must have experience with total shoulder replacements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Set up operating room with instruments, sterile drapes, and solutions.
• Tends to patient during pre-operation procedures and prepares skin and equipment.
• Assembles sterile and non-sterile equipment and ensures proper function.
• Prepares, positions, and transports patients to the operating room.
• Assists surgeons and assistants by passing instruments and supplies.
• Operates sterilizers, lights, suction machines, and related equipment.
• Transports patients post-operation to recovery and restocks OR.
