Job summary

HUMBLE VASCULAR SURGICAL CENTER INC is seeking a Surgical Technician to scrub in and assist during operative procedures, supporting sterile field maintenance and instrument care. You will follow HIPAA guidelines and work with nurses to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualified candidates have a surgical technician program credential, CST certification (preferred), and BLS; 2–4 years of related experience is desirable in a fast-paced hospital or outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of surgical technician program with CST preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• 2-4 years of surgical tech experience preferred.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical scrubbing and assisting duties and maintain sterile field.
• Care for and maintain surgical instrumentation and equipment.
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Work under supervision, support OR team, and adapt to changing cases.
