Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support scrub duties in the OR, assist with instrument handling and aseptic technique, and help ensure safe, efficient surgical cases.

You will set up sterile supplies, assist with patient care before and after procedures, communicate with the surgical team, and participate in maintaining equipment readiness and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Surgical technologist education or training leading to certification.
• Ability to obtain CST or TS-C/NCCT certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Check daily assignment and prepare operative field.
• Set up sterile instruments and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique during cases.
• Assist with patient transfer and wound closure under supervision.
• Promote safe environment and effective communication with the OR team.
