Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room by ensuring cleanliness, sterility and proper setup.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Maintains aseptic technique and a sterile field throughout procedures.
• Passes instruments, supplies, and equipment to surgeons and team members.
• Anticipates needs and helps with room turnover and sterilization per policy.
• Performs instrument counts and handles surgical specimens per protocol.
