Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of medical registration, billing, scheduling, or insurance experience.
• Two years of customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and calendaring programs.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage provider surgery/hospital procedure schedules.
• Obtain prior authorization and verify eligibility and benefits.
• Coordinate referrals and out-of-network care as needed.
• Prepare and file surgical orders, forms, and cost estimates.
• Communicate pre-op requirements and patient education.
