Geisinger Lewistown Hospital is seeking a full-time Scheduling professional for day shifts (8am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday) in Lewistown, PA. This role supports operating room scheduling, coordinates surgeon calendars, and ensures patient information is accurate for scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Provides OR scheduling support for surgeons within the department.
• Manages individual Providers and the Department’s surgery schedule.
• Obtains pertinent patient information and communicates with providers to meet needs.
• Works with physician offices/clinics on scheduling processes.
• Monitors OR usage and notifies physicians of open time/rooms for elective cases.
• Coordinates issues with external departments to resolve scheduling problems.
