Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all patient scheduling activities for appointments, procedures and exams across departments.
• Collect clinical information, verify insurance and patient demographics to ensure proper scheduling.
• Schedule patients for physician appointments and diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients, families and offices on department protocols, procedures, insurance, referrals and testing criteria.
• Monitor protocols and procedures and suggest improvements.
• Utilize scheduling software (EPIC/PHS) to facilitate patient access.
• Serve as a resource for staff, physicians and referring offices.
