Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to maintain accurate statistics, gather data, and produce reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates case times for elective procedures in a computerized scheduling system.
• Verifies physician privilege status prior to scheduling and maintains logs.
• Acquires authorization numbers, H&Ps, lab results; orders prior records when needed.
• Enters physician orders for labs, imaging, and billing; prints orders as required.
• Schedules and maintains physician block time and communications with CEO/BD.
• Acts as patient liaison, greets visitors, answers questions about policies and procedures.
• Documents activities and participates in quarterly business development meetings.
