Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Group in Arizona is seeking a Surgery Procedure Coordinator to orchestrate surgical procedures and patient support. You will coordinate schedules for physicians, ORs, anesthesia, equipment, and staff, and manage pre/post-op information and authorizations.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and knowledge of surgical workflows; experience with EMR or scheduling software is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program or U.S. Armed Forces medical services training; 2000 hours if older program per policy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedules for physicians, ORs, anesthesia, equipment, and staff.
• Document clinically relevant findings in patient records per protocols.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weight, ADL/I&O, and glucose per RN instructions.
