Job summary

Qualifications

• Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physician(s) and staff with daily coordination of patient care, surgeries, and access.
• Process paperwork: clearances, demographics, etc., and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Schedule surgery appointments and update OR schedule daily.
• Verify insurance and search ICD/CPT codes when not provided.
• Coordinate surgeries with outside physicians and prior hospital admissions as needed.
• Enter notes and special instructions when scheduling procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and company information.
