Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Surgery scheduling/coordination experience preferred.
• Professional, detail‑oriented, team player with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate all aspects of patient surgeries.
• Create and submit surgical encounters in Soarian for billing.
• Obtain and verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Obtain authorization for surgery and coordinate with surgeons on codes.
• Ensure surgeries are scheduled and coded correctly with other departments.
