Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 2 years related job experience preferred.

• 2 years surgical scheduling experience preferred.
• 2 years typing and computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and enters scheduling information for procedures.
• Maintains scheduling information in required systems.
• Communicates schedule changes to requesting departments.
• Demonstrates proficient computer skills with Windows-based software.
• Provides courteous customer service to health care team and patients' families.
• Answers phones professionally and serves as first contact for the department.
