Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a Surgical Scheduler to join the Urology team in Middlebury. The role schedules pre- and postoperative procedures under the provider and coordinates the OR and surgeon's schedule.

The schedule emphasizes accurate demographic/insurance intake, effective communication, and proficient use of Epic systems and standard office tools. A high school diploma and healthcare office experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years healthcare office experience; surgical scheduling preferred.
• Experience with Epic/Epic Care and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with colleagues, patients and family members.
• Educate patients and family members so they understand the care being provided.
• Understanding of computer-based applications (E-MAR, clinical documentation), email, and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive teamwork.
