Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group seeks a Surgical Scheduler to join the GYN Oncology team. The role schedules surgical procedures, pre- and postoperative visits, and aligns the OR schedule with ambulatory practice needs.

The scheduler ensures accurate patient data in EPIC and coordinates with providers to maintain efficient patient care. The position is full-time on day shift, with benefits and a patient-centered mission.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years healthcare office experience.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Prior surgical scheduling experience highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains provider schedules and coordinates surgeries efficiently.
• Obtains pre-surgical testing and pre-admission information to schedule procedures.
• Completes pre-authorizations and approvals from third parties for procedures.
• Captures patient demographics, diagnosis, procedures, and insurance in EPIC.
• Coordinates information exchanges among physicians and hospitals.
• Schedules follow-up and reviews discharge instructions with patients.
