Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Heartsaver within 30 days of hire.
• PSR/medical office experience preferred.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Accurate data entry and computer proficiency.
• Ability to organize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Experience with EHR and practice management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families; schedule appointments and hospital/ambulatory admissions.
• Answer calls promptly and direct to appropriate staff; take accurate messages.
• Schedule tests, referrals, and update patient charts as needed.
• Maintain contact information and on-call schedules; protect patient privacy.
• Prepare charts for new patients and ensure proper forms are filed.
• Request and organize medical records and information for visits; print essential data.
• Reconcile encounters daily per policy; monitor supplies and equipment.
