Job summary

VillageMD in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Patient Service Representative – Specialty Scheduler to support the specialty department, handling administrative duties and complex scheduling to ensure a positive patient experience and efficient operations.

The role requires excellent customer service, English communication skills, and the ability to coordinate referrals, imaging, and lab orders while maintaining accurate patient information.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Experience with EHR/PM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, patients, and families professionally.
• Maintain efficient patient flow during registration.
• Answer calls promptly and direct to appropriate staff.
• Schedule internal procedures and tests per department guidelines.
• Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations as needed.
