Qualifications

• Experience coordinating surgical procedures and coordinating with surgeon offices, anesthesia and OR.
• Ability to prepare admission/registration forms and handle clerical scheduling duties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with physicians, patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage OR booking process for multiple locations including Beverly Hospital, Lahey Outpatient Center Danvers and Addison Gilbert Hospital.
• Coordinate patient surgeries with surgeon offices, anesthesia and OR to ensure room and anesthesia availability.
• Enter scheduling data into the OR Scheduling System and prepare necessary pre-op appointments.
• Notify relevant departments of changes and ensure timely patient check-in and presence on the day of surgery.
