Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of medical scheduling experience.
• English proficiency; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet callers warmly & provide courteous service.
• Be the first contact for patients at the practice.
• Use sound judgment with sensitive medical information.
• Answers calls within three-four rings.
• Schedule appointments with accurate demographics & insurance data.
• Manage scheduling updates and changes per requests.
• Match availability with patient needs using the EMR system.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records for analysis.
• Communicate with physicians and staff about patient concerns.
• Process requests from other medical offices (fax records, etc.).
• Address patient concerns and maintain a courteous demeanor.
• Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
