Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Surgical Scheduler for the GI department in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role schedules surgeries, coordinates with care teams, and supports efficient operating room utilization.

The ideal candidate will have an HS diploma, strong communication and organizational skills, and EPIC experience. Some travel to other locations may be required; bilingual Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate using both written and verbal skills.
• Proficiency with organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical skills in order to maintain and modify the scheduling module.
• Minimum of three months previous business office or healthcare-based experience preferred.
• Previous insurance, managed care, and integrative medicine experience preferred.
• Medical terminology or coding experience.
• One year of EPIC experience.
• Bilingual Spanish helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgeries for the department under supervision according to policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve scheduling issues and optimize the schedule.
