Qualifications

• High school level of communication and/or math skills, no technical training required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Surgery Scheduling is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology or related coursework is preferred.
• Must be able to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Schedule procedures for operating room, same day surgery, GI Lab, Pain Clinic and OB; take physician orders for procedures.
• Enter scheduling data into computer system, generate daily reports and distribute to relevant departments.
