Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Surgical Scheduler II to join our team across Glenview and Skokie, IL. This on-site role involves scheduling surgical cases, coordinating with OR staff and surgeon offices, and ensuring accurate documentation in Epic Optime.

Some travel between locations and flexible hours are required to meet operational needs. Ideal candidates have experience in surgical scheduling or billing, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to multitask across multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Ability to multitask across tasks.
• Experience in surgical scheduling or billing preferred.
• Epic Optime or Cadence experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical cases in Epic Optime across Endeavor.
• Identify scheduling options and opportunities.
• Resolve conflicts and communicate with OR staff and surgeons.
• Ensure billable services are accurately charged and logged.
• Manage end-of-day processes and ensure logs are cleared for billing.
