Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a Surgical Scheduler for the Urogynecology team in Bloomfield. The role schedules pre- and postoperative procedures, coordinates OR and surgeon timelines, and gathers patient demographics and insurance details.

Strong computer skills (Windows, Epic/Epic Care) and excellent communication are required. Prior scheduling experience and a patient-centered approach are highly valued in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years healthcare office experience preferred.
• Prior surgical scheduling experience highly preferred.
• Epic experience (Epic/ Epic Care) desirable.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules pre- and postoperative surgical procedures under provider direction.
• Coordinates operating room and surgeon schedules.
• Collects demographic and insurance information and communicates details to patients.
• Educates patients and families to ensure understanding of care and procedures.
