Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group in Bloomfield, CT is seeking a Surgical Scheduler to join the Urogynecology team. You will schedule pre- and postoperative procedures under provider direction and coordinate the OR and surgeon's schedule.

The role requires effective communication, attention to patient details, and proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic. A high school diploma and 2+ years healthcare office experience are minimum; Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years healthcare office experience; medical terminology preferred.
• Prior surgical scheduling experience preferred; Epic/Epic Care experience desirable.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office; ability to navigate Epic systems.

Responsibilities

• Understanding of computer-based applications (E-MAR, clinical documentation), email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.
