Universal Health Services, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) - First Assist for Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. This full-time role supports the surgical team in the operating room, advancing RNFA responsibilities and ensuring patient safety during complex procedures.

The position requires CA RN licensure, CNOR certification (or RNFA plan within 1 year), and ongoing CNOR/RNAS-C progression. BLS/ACLS/PALS and obstetric-related NRP are required as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with Bachelor's degree, currently licensed to practice in the State of CA.
• CNOR certification required; existing RNFA will have one year to obtain CNOR.
• Must maintain currency with CNOR and attain CRNFA or RNAS-C within 2 years for ongoing employment.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• NRP if working in obstetrical areas.

Responsabilités

• Assist the surgeon in the operating room with intraoperative procedures.
• Provide knowledge, skill and judgment to support a safe operation.
• Follow state laws regarding surgical assisting and nursing practice.
