Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA seeks a Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) for a full-time role in the operating room. The RNFA will assist the surgeon intraoperatively under supervision, building proficiency in advanced procedures beyond standard RN scope.

The position requires CA RN licensure and CNOR certification, with currency maintenance and CRNFA or RNAS-C planned within 2 years. BLS/ACLS/PALS are required; NRP if obstetrical work is involved, ensuring patient safety

Qualifications

• Must hold CA RN license and CNOR certification where applicable.
• CNOR required for ongoing CNOR-based roles; CRNFA/RNAS-C within 2 years is expected.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS required; NRP if obstetrical areas are involved.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon in the operating room under supervision as RNFA.
• Develop proficiency in intraoperative procedures beyond standard RN scope.
• Follow state laws governing surgical assisting and nursing practice.
