Job summary
Adventist Health Twin Cities is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within perioperative services. The RNFA role emphasizes leadership, suturing, hemostasis, and teamwork under the surgeon's direction.
Candidates must hold an RN license, BLS, ACLS, CNOR, and PALS, with scrub and circulate experience in acute care. The facility operates under AH standards and participates in E-Verify.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a school of nursing.
- Certification of completion of an approved didactic RNFA course.
- Three years scrub and circulate experience in an acute care facility.
- Annual surgeon review.
- Current RN license in state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AH policy.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AH policy.
- Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from AH policy.
Responsibilities
- Assist under the direction of the primary operating surgeon in perioperative care.
- Provide and delegate patient care and meet standards of nursing practice.
- Demonstrate intraoperative RNFA competencies and leadership.
- Document medications and complete education and competency requirements.
