Job summary

Adventist Health Twin Cities in Templeton, CA, a 122-bed acute care facility, seeks a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care across perioperative services. The RNFA role supports the surgeon, demonstrates leadership and adherence to hospital standards, and reports to the Director of Perioperative Services.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, BLS/ACLS, CNOR, and scrub/circulate experience in an acute care setting, with strong teamwork and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing (Required).
• Certification of completion of RNFA course (Required).
• Three years scrub and circulate experience in an acute care facility (Required).
• Annual surgeon review (Required).
• Current RN license in state of practice (Required).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR preferred; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate patient care across the perioperative continuum.
• Assist under surgeon direction in perioperative care as RNFA.
• Maintain standards of nursing practice and documentation."
• Demonstrate leadership and professional conduct per hospital policies.
• Participate in staff education and quality monitors as directed.
