Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• Certification of completion of an approved didactic RNFA course.
• Three years scrub and circulate experience in an acute care facility.
• Annual surgeon review.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy.
• Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR).
• Required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice.

Aufgaben

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as an RN.
• Coordinate, manage, provide and delegate patient care according to standards.
• Assist under supervision of the primary operating surgeon in perioperative care.
• Demonstrate leadership and professionalism as an RNFA.
• Complete education, training, and competencies for department skills.
• Ensure correct charging and documentation of patient items.
• Observe infection control guidelines and medical history review.
• Respond to cardiac or respiratory distress and participate in Code Blue.
• Documentation of medications using the 6 rights and discharge planning inputs.
