Job summary

GlobalPoint HC is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assistant to support the surgeon during procedures, assist with exposure, hemostasis, and closure, and ensure patient safety under the surgeon's supervision and hospital policies.

Qualifications include a Wisconsin RN license, completion of an RNFA program, and BLS within 6 months of hire; 1+ year OR experience preferred. Shift: Mon–Thu 7:00 am–5:30 pm with weekend call.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN license required.
• Completion of an RN First Assistant (RNFA) program or equivalent.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team to prepare sterile supplies, instruments, and drapes.
• Position patient to provide safe surgical access and visibility.
• Assist with hemostasis and closure of body planes.
• Apply wound dressings and assist with drainage systems as needed.
• Safely operate surgical equipment in line with hospital policies.
