Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks an experienced RN First Assistant (RNFA) to support surgeons intraoperatively and provide comprehensive perioperative care. The role includes preoperative assessments, plan development, and continuous patient monitoring to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of nursing experience, an active RN license, and CNOR or RN First Assistant certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of nursing experience.
• RN licensure required; CNOR or RN First Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons intraoperatively as a first assistant.
• Perform focused preoperative assessments and develop care plans.
• Ensure safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care.
• Administer medications, evaluate patient responses, and modify care plans as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional growth and ethical practice.
• Collaborate with the care team and support patient and family education.
