Qualifications

• Surgical Pathology Administrative Experience 5-7 years required.
• Supervisory/Leadership Experience 2-3 years preferred.
• Familiarity with CAP/CLIA accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordination for the surgical pathology department.
• Oversee the daily workflow of accessioning, grossing, processing, and reporting of surgical specimens.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy and compliance with CAP/CLIA and other standards.
• Manage inventory of pathology supplies, reagents, and equipment.
• Oversee maintenance of pathology databases and electronic health records related to surgical specimens.
• Provide supervision and guidance to pathology support staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements governing surgical pathology services.
