Job summary

Qualifications

- Current Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State RN license.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association).
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage patient care in the operating room setting using the nursing process.
- Perform pre-operative assessments, including reviewing histories and exams.
- Scrub functions: instrument handling during procedures.
- Circulating functions: monitor and communicate patient condition.
- Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety and comfort during surgery.
- Educate patients and family and plan continuum of care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team on individualized care plans.
