Job summary

Williamson Health is seeking a Nurse Tech/Unit Secretary for the Post Surgical unit to support patient hygiene, ADL assistance, and data collection. The role requires effective communication with patients and the health care team, and accurate transcription of the medical plan of care.

Applicants should have CNA experience or certification preferred, a high school diploma, and BLS within 90 days of hire. This is a full-time night shift position oriented toward teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Certified or 1+ year nursing assistant experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily hygiene and assist with ADLs and data collection.
• Communicate with patients, families and health care team.
• Transcribe medical plan of care and maintain working environment.
• Assist with patient care and report problems to the nurse.
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with HIPAA.
