Job summary

Williamson Health in Franklin, TN, is seeking a Nurse Tech/Unit Secretary for Med/Oncology, full-time days. You will provide daily hygiene, assist with ADLs, transcribe care plans, and communicate with patients and the health care team. A CNA or nursing assistant background is preferred, with BLS due soon after hire.

Expect a collaborative hospital environment that values compassionate care, teamwork, and patient safety. Strong multitasking and endurance for 12-hour shifts are important.

Qualifications

• Certified or at least one year of nursing assistant experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• To provide daily hygiene, assist with ADL's, and data collection in a timely and accurate manner.
• To communicate appropriately with patients, families, and all members of the health care team.
• To transcribe medical plan of care, maintain work environment and communicate nursing care needs in a timely and accurate manner.
