Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to partner with the Nurse Manager in directing day-to-day patient care and unit operations. You will lead a clinical team, ensure 24/7 coverage, and drive quality outcomes while supporting staff development and patient experience.

The role requires a BSN, Virginia RN license, BLS at hire and ACLS within 6 months, plus at least two years of staff nurse experience.

Formación

• RN license in Virginia or compact state
• BLS Provider CPR required at hire (ACLS within 6 months)
• Minimum 2 years’ staff nurse experience

Responsabilidades

• Oversee clinical care delivery with Nurse Manager to meet quality targets
• Provide shift leadership for 24/7 coverage
• Adjust staffing to meet patient care needs
• Assign patient care respecting licensure and scope
• Conduct daily rounding with staff and patients
• Ensure regulatory and safety tasks are completed
• Liaise with physicians and departments to resolve concerns
• Support staff education and orientation
• Participate in associate selection and engagement initiatives
• Fulfill RN responsibilities and perform duties as assigned
