Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Level II Competent Registered Nurse to provide total, patient-centered care in collaboration with the health care team. You will use nursing process and evidence-based practice to deliver safe, high-quality care for assigned patients in the designated unit.

Requirements include BSN, Virginia RN license or compact, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, NRP within 6 months; 1 year L&D or M/B experience preferred for applicable roles.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN and an active RN license in Virginia or compact state
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire; ACLS and NRP required within 6 months of hire
• Excellent communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process and interdisciplinary teamwork
• Coordinate patient/family teaching and discharge planning
• Participate in quality improvement and policy development within the unit and hospital
