Job summary

Stryker in Mansfield, OH is seeking a Sterile Processing Specialist to reprocess and manage surgical instrumentation per IFU and hospital policy. This on-site role supports SPD operations, OR teams, and requires timely equipment readiness and adherence to HIPAA and facility procedures.

Candidates should have OR experience, basic computer skills, and CRCST certification within 6 months of hire; willingness to travel within region and cover rotating shifts including nights and weekends may be

Qualifications

• Operating room experience and knowledge of anatomy and procedures.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication.
• Ability to troubleshoot under high-stress conditions.
• Willingness to cover rotating shifts and on-call as required.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble and test instrumentation per IFU.
• Maintain instrument lists and support SPD leadership.
• Coordinate repairs, replacements and instrument tracking.
• Communicate readiness with SPD and OR leaders.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
