Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a dedicated SPD technician to support sterile processing and instrument reprocessing for surgical cases in the Mansfield area. You will reprocess and manage instrumentation per IFU and hospital policy, ensuring timely, compliant operations across SPD teams.

Responsibility includes decontamination, assembly, testing, and keeping instrument lists updated, with coverage across shifts as needed. Strong OR knowledge and HIPAA compliance are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Operating room experience with knowledge of anatomy and procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues in high-stress settings.
• Willingness to travel and cover multiple shifts.
• Adherence to HIPAA and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and assemble rigid scopes, cameras, light cords, and power instrumentation.
• Perform in-line function testing (leak, sharpness, insulation, or power checks).
• Wrap and containerize sets for sterilization per IFU.
• Maintain and update Stryker-managed instrumentation lists in collaboration with SPD leadership.
• Facilitate repairs, replacements, and instrument tracking per hospital protocols.
• Communicate with SPD and OR leaders regarding equipment readiness and process improvements.
