Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Sterile Processing Department (SPD) specialist in Columbus, OH who will reprocess and manage surgical instruments per IFU and hospital policy. You'll work alongside SPD staff to ensure timely, compliant reprocessing of Stryker and hospital-owned instruments.

The role requires CRCST certification within 6 months of hire, ongoing education, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and flexibility to cover multiple shifts and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• CRCST certification within 6 months of hire and annual renewal.
• Experience in Sterile Processing and OR environments preferred.
• Proficient with standard computer tools and documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and assemble rigid scopes and instrumentation.
• Perform inline function testing and quality checks.
• Wrap and containerize sets for sterilization per IFU.
• Maintain instrument lists and support SPD leadership.
• Coordinate repairs, replacements and instrument tracking.
