Job summary

Stryker Group in Reno, NV seeks an OR Equipment Specialist to provide clinical surgical support, manage and troubleshoot surgical devices, and ensure accurate data reporting. You’ll assist surgeons and OR staff, maintain equipment, participate in training, and cover shifts including on‑call and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Operating room experience and knowledge of procedures preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment.
• Anticipates device needs of OR staff and surgeon during procedures.
• Troubleshoots and maintains Stryker equipment and related devices.
• Works with surgeons, OR personnel, central processing, biomedical and others.
• Maintains knowledge base of equipment and disposable products via training.
• Records and reports data metrics for job functions monthly.
• Ensures vendor credentialing and up-to-date account information for service levels.
