Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) in NYC seeks a Surgical Department Coordinator for Jacobi and North Central Bronx. The role provides administrative and operational support to the Chief of Service and Surgery Division, coordinating day-to-day activities and serving as liaison with physicians, staff and leadership.

Ideal candidates have healthcare administration experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and familiarity with Epic.

  • Prior administrative experience in a healthcare or clinical environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Epic preferred.

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an opportunity for a Surgical Department Coordinator at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. To this day, Jacobi remains a respected leader in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women's health. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation withAlbert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.
