Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant – Surgery to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx.

North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women's health.

Opportunity Details:

• Performing history and physical examinations.
• Ordering diagnostic tests based on assessments.
• Developing treatment plans.

• Making referrals, as necessary.
• Documenting findings in the electronic medical record.
• Consulting with supervising medical provider, when appropriate.
• Counseling patients and families regarding care.
• Reviewing and responding to referrals from within and outside the clinic.

Qualifications:

• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
• Current certification issued by the NCCPA.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment.
• ACLS/BLS certified.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836* based on a 40‑hour work week and years of State Licensure.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:

• 401(k) Company Contribution: Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings with no employee match. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution with no employee match.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday.
• Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top‑tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
