Job summary

Okc-Oms is seeking a Hospital Coordinator to support coordination of hospital-based surgical procedures within our oral and maxillofacial surgery practice. The role acts as a liaison among surgeons, hospital staff, patients, and clinical teams to ensure cases are prepared and coordinated efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have proactive, dependable work habits, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent attention to detail to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of administrative or clinical coordination experience in a dental/oral surgery setting.
• Experience with hospital scheduling, surgical workflows, or preoperative coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with surgeons, hospital staff, patients, and referring providers.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical materials and patient-specific needs.
• Prepare patient education materials and facilitate communication throughout the surgical process.
• Maintain accurate surgical documentation and verify preoperative requirements.
• Support practice growth through referral relationship management and marketing outreach.
• Visit referring offices and assist with promotional campaigns.
