US Eye in Leesburg, FL is seeking a Surgical Counselor to manage all aspects of scheduling surgeries and post-op care. You will educate patients about premium lenses, coordinate with the financial team for authorizations, and guide patients through financial responsibilities.

You will serve as the liaison between patients and clinical staff, ensuring seamless communication and a concierge level of service for cataract and refractive surgery candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional people-skills and thorough communication are essential.
• Ability to follow spoken and written instructions and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Maintain concierge level customer service for surgical patients.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures, lens options, and pricing.
• Coordinate with the financial team to obtain authorizations and collect patient responsibilities.
• Assist patients with payment plans and collect co-pays, co-insurances, deposits, and full amounts.
• Communicate scheduling updates and insurance changes to patients.
• Schedule ASC surgeries, preoperative and post-operative appointments per physician timing.
• Prepare all financial and scheduling paperwork before surgery.
• Demonstrate ability to counsel and educate patients on procedures and lens options.
