Job summary

Revo Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative for the Edina Specialty Surgery Center. You will handle patient registration and check-in, verify insurance, and gather signatures while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time, on-site role operates 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM (with some early hours) and includes administrative tasks, chart preparation, scheduling, and collaboration with care teams to ensure a smooth surgical experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or completion upon hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register surgery patients and obtain insurance information and signatures at registration.
• Verify patients’ insurance is up to date.
• Enter new or changed patient information from pre-op calls before surgery.
• Manage history and physical (H&P) process for upcoming surgery patients as needed.
• Prepare and breakdown patient charts.
• Assist with pre-operative calls and surgery scheduling.
• Monitor fax machine for operative and pathology reports.
• Collaborate with care teams to maximize patient outcomes and smooth flow of the surgical experience.
• Report incidents through the center’s reporting process for employees and patients.
• Support education and onboarding for colleagues, orientees, and students.
