  • Serve as primary liaison between OMFS, GPR, hospital OR scheduling teams, and anesthesia services.
  • Ensure all preoperative requirements are completed (medical clearance, documentation, imaging, consents).
  • Track case readiness and proactively resolve gaps or delays.
  • Align faculty, resident, and hospital availability to optimize OR utilization.
  • Coordinate inpatient and outpatient workflows related to hospital-based care.
  • Maintain case tracking systems and ensure accurate, up-to-date information.
  • Support communication with patients regarding hospital-based procedures.
  • Identify and address operational inefficiencies in case coordination workflows.
  • Collaborate with program leadership to support both OMFS and GPR training needs.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 35 years' experience in surgical scheduling, hospital coordination, or clinical operations
  • Knowledge of surgical systems
Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
  • Experience Working With hospital systems, OR scheduling, or procedural care strongly preferred
  • Experience with OMFS, dentistry, or surgical specialties
  • Familiarity with hospital credentialing, OR block time, and perioperative workflows
